The Best TikTok Ad You've Ever Seen

This mum knows copywriting better than 99% of people

Hola amigos,

There’s a mum on TikTok with an ingenious product that’s selling like hotcakes. I’m not surprised. Her copywriting is unbelievable.

In just 6 days, her video has 9.3 million views and 1.2 million likes.

Let’s watch the video, meet the mum, see the product, and hear her pitch.

Incredible, right?

Let’s review why her script was so successful:

  • Relatability: She begins by sharing a bit about herself. She has five kids and they were on the road all summer long. Right away, parents are paying attention.

  • Fear: She then shares that her kids need to feel safe when they get changed. This is something every parent understands and every child has to deal with in public settings… especially if the toilets are disgusting.

  • Convenience: She explains that she can set this contraption up quickly. You know she’s not lying because she’s doing it right in front of you. Then she mentions you can keep all the gear they need in the car. Again, parents know the pain of dragging clothes/equipment with them to outings or sporting events. That goes away with this contraption.

  • Social proof: She states that her product has over 100 5-star reviews. Now you feel safe purchasing it because so many others have!

  • Reviews features: She quickly summarises/reviews the features of her product, driving home the convenience of owning it.

Then, if you go into the comments, there are three other demographics mentioned that she could market this to.

Her audience is scaling up her business for her! 😂

This is how you use copywriting to sell a product.

  1. Relate to the target audience

  2. Play into an emotion

  3. Highlight the benefits

  4. Use social proof

Combine that with a clear CTA and a simple checkout process and your product or service cannot fail.

Happy copywriting.

Adios,Andrew

P.S. Did you notice what the woman was wearing? Yeah, that’s right… regular mum clothes! And she was driving a regular mum minivan. You may call it cliche, but I call it speaking to your audience.
